ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old Marketing Analyst living in San Francisco. I graduated recently from the University of Pennsylvania where I majored in Diplomatic History. I just recently moved out to San Francisco and once I got settled was interested in volunteering or giving myself over to something "grander than myself," as they say and luckily found this project to help out Gamda village. This project interests me for a few reasons. One, I have always had a fondness for the land of India and its varied customs. Two, I believe that everyone in the world should have the right to basic necessity's, with water being one of the most, if not the most basic of all. Three, the SEWA project looks really great in that it is giving once undervalued women skills to empower them and allow them to provide for themselves and their families. I hope to use my social planning skill as well as my social graces to throw a few amazing parties to raise awareness for this project as well as other wonderful Citizen Effect projects around the world.
