Status Update – August 2010

The Center is currently using the new kitchen equipment!
At the end of April, we evaluated cost estimates to choose between different providers, to find high quality products with accessible prices. In May 2010, we purchased the kitchen equipment and sent it to the Center in Subtanjalla, Ica. In mid-May the equipment was delivered to the Center, and a few days later, we installed it in the kitchen. Since installation, the kitchen is more efficient and the work of the Center’s staff –volunteers and CAE Director- has better served the children’s needs. The installation of this new equipment has improved the services provided to high-risk children attending the Center, and especially the children’s nutrition and overall health.
