COMMUNITY WATER TANK — KHOD VILLAGE
The community water distribution tank, the main water source for Khod's villagers, is damaged and in desperate need of repair. A leak in the tank and its pipelines has seriously impaired the village's entire water system. Khod's residents are now forced to travel to the tank to collect water for their daily needs. In addition, the leak also prevents the village from storing and retaining water distributed by the government.
This project will fund the repair of the damaged community water distribution tank and pipelines to ensure the renewed flow of the tank's water into each household tap.

Why?
Khod does not have plumbing, irrigation, or the other infrastructure that are necessary to providing its members with access to water. Water used for drinking, cooking, agriculture, and cleaning depends on that collected from the monsoon rains. Recent droughts and the damaged community water tank have rendered Khod's available water unfit for drinking and caused a severe water shortage in the village.
How?
Local laborers and masons from the village and the surrounding area will be hired to complete the work.
