Congratulations on your fundraising. DC4DC has now closed and all the funds you raised have been transferred to Common Good City Farm. The construction of the raised beds will commence later this year.

The Last Push To Reach Our Goal!

16 More Days, Goal Nearly Reached

If we can make it this far in 26 days, think of what we can accomplish in the last 16 days! The servathon ends November 5th and my goal is to raise an additional $326 and get 35 more people to participate! These funds are desperately needed to support our goal of building raised garden beds and developing our cooking and gardening educational programs. Each donation helps with seeds, gardening tools, cooking supplies, and informational materials.

New Goal

We have exceeded the $250 program goal and my $500 personal goal within a few hours of sending out my first appeal. Clearly I need to shoot for the moon so my new goal is to raise $1000. More importantly, my hope is that I get at least 100 people to donate. Just a small donation makes all the difference!

Thanks for taking a second to check out my project. My name is Claire and I am a recent DC transplant from Portland OR (originally from San Diego CA). I have moved here in hopes of shifting the way our nation produces, distributes, and consumes food. I believe that by changing these processes we can solve some of the greatest problems facing our country...everything from social justice issues, to environmental degradation, to health problems trace back to food. In my effort to find work in food policy and programs I got involved with Common Good City Farm....
