Navli is a small village of agricultural laborers and tobacco factory workers. As the tobacco industry is the largest employer in Navli, the majority of the villagers and their families are exposed to serious occupational health hazards. The lack of full-time, quality childcare for children of workers forces many parents to bring their children to the tobacco factory where they are exposed at a young age to unhealthy conditions. The Navli Childcare Center currently cares for 40 children all under six years old. The center is dedicated to fostering the children's physical and intellectual growth and counseling their parents in establishing a healthy learning environment at home. However, it is unable to meet the costs of supplies, foods, and salaries for the upcoming year. Become the Citizen Philanthropist for this project and partner with Navli village to create a positive educational environment for their children.
