The $3,700 you've raised will support the construction of 16 indoor sanitation facilities throughout Bandhwad Village. St. Augustine, Florida

Hello Everyone - A journey recap: Arrived at my final destination of St. Augustine on November 19 after 60 days on the road covering 3,315 miles. Experienced much beauty along the way - from the deserts and mountains of the Southwest to the lush green landscapes of the Southeast - (check out my photos from the road in the Media Gallery below). Just as beautiful were the people I met along the way. There are a lot of wonderful people out there. Would like to thank all those folks who helped out along the way, with donations and discounted services, a place to stay and a hot meal, and to the simple kindness of a smile, a honk or words of encouragement. Love the big hearts and big smiles!! Thanks to all for your support of the project in whatever way - it's one community of folks looking out for another!

Holiday Spirit

Battlesharks for Bandhwad (End of season celebration - 11/14/09)

A BIG thanks to the Tallahassee, Florida youth soccer team the Battlesharks, who were inspired to help out the people of Bandhwad. Using soccer, they raised a sizable amount for the project. Scoring goals took on an extra meaning with "Points for Potties" which converted goals into gold, one such way in which donations were raised. In the process, they learned a little about another culture and themselves. Way to go Battlesharks!! Thank you players & parents! (Check out photos from the celebration in the Media Gallery below).

Glenn's Update from the Road

Glenn arrived in Tallahassee, FL this past Saturday, the 14th of November. He's covered 2984 miles and raised $2,150. After spending the weekend with family he's left Tallahassee and set off on the final leg of his journey. Glenn expects to arrive at his destination in St. Augustine, FL on Thursday or Friday of this week.

Riding Across America

I am leading efforts to raise funds for the Bandhwad Village Sanitation Facilities project. 1Well is unique in that it allows individuals and communities the opportunity to give directly to specific projects. You see exactly where and how your donation will be utilized, and 100% of donations go directly towards the project. These projects greatly impact the communities in which they serve. The dollar goes a long way in India (project costs are low compared to what they'd be here), so raising the needed funds for these projects is attainable for individuals and communities.
