Congratulations on fully funding your Podo Treatment Program project!! The funds have been transfered to our field partner in Ethiopia, Mekane Yesus Church, and they have sent back a full report on the impact of your project in the Ghimbi community.

These photos show soap production. Mekane Yesus trained some single mothers in Ghimbi to produce an herbal soap that can help Podo patients with the healing process of their feet.

Students from Maize High School help combat podo with TOMS Shoes!

Thank you to Denise, Abby, Katie, Bryan and the students of Maize High School in Maize, Kansas for your generous donation of $304.12 to the Podo Treatment and Prevention Program in Debasso, Ethiopia!

Maize High School participated in TOMS Shoes's One Day Without Shoes campaign, and raised $304.12 to help treat patients who have podoconiosis, a debilitating disease caused by walking barefoot on volcanic soil.

Thanks again Maize High School and our friends at TOMS for all of your inspiring work!
