MEET THE CP
About Me: When in San Francisco, you can usually find me hanging at The Pad Studios, practicing yoga. But when Im not there you can find me walking my dog, drinking coffee, on my road bike in the Marin Headlands, at the Saturday morning farmer's market.. I am a sun goddess and enjoy being outdoors... boating in the summer, and down hill skiing in the winter! Next place I plan to visit - India! I believe change happens little by little. When each of us is willing to act - one step at a time.
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Self Employed Women’s Assocation (SEWA), 1Well's field partner in India, started the Hamare Bachche (“Our Children”) Program aimed at rehabilitating children who lost one or both parents in the riots and placing them back in school to finish their education. Children between the ages of 3-18 years are enrolled in Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools. This project provides operational funds for the Hamare Bachche program in Ahmedabad City to directly sponsor 15 students with the resources students to complete their education, achieve self-reliance and seek more prosperous opportunities for their families. Become the Citizen Philanthropist for this project, and partner with the Ahmedabad by providing child victims of the 2002 riots with the opportunity to advance to high school and beyond.
