The Boyanci Volunteer Group's project will support the completion of a community library in the Sta. María Education Center. This process will include finishing the library's floors, windows, and painting as well as reinforcing its concrete components. This project's funding will ensure that all these necessary tasks will be completed so the library can be opened as a multipurpose center for study and learning. The center's community library will offer quality services to approximately 300 students every school day. These students will have access to many new resources including books, librarians, research tools, and programming on various topics such as the environment, human rights, and gender equality. In addition, the Sta. María library will also be available to more than 1,500 community members through book loans, adult literacy courses, parent resource workshops, and community events.
