MEET THE CP

About Me: Hi! So since joining the Stanford triathlon team, my idea of what constitutes fun has become a bit unusual; hence the decision to embark on a 50 mile bike ride in one day. But, it is also for a great cause. FACE AIDS, founded by three Stanford students, is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a global movement of young leaders to fight HIV/AIDS. I have committed to raising $125 by May 7, 2011, the date of the Bay Area Ride. This $125 goal represents the cost of one year of life-saving anti-retroviral treatment for an individual living with HIV in Rwanda. I would be so grateful if you would make a donation to support me in achieving my fundraising goal. Donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated - every dollar counts. Thanks!!

PROJECT SUMMARY

The FACE AIDS Bay Area Ride is a one day, 50- or 15-mile bike ride through the mid-Peninsula. Participants in the Bay Ride commit to raise at least $125, which is the cost of one year’s worth of anti-retroviral treatment for an individual living with HIV/AIDS in Rwanda. Funds raised through the Bay Area Ride are used to support FACE AIDS’ and Partners In Health’s work in Rwanda. Both FACE AIDS and Partners In Health work to provide comprehensive health care and socio-economic support to individuals and communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
